Robert J. Matthews – Searching the Scriptures: How to Face Temptation

by on Mar.12, 2011, under Talks

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.” (Rev. 21:7.)

Years ago when Sister Nelson and I had several teenaged daughters, we took our family on a vacation far away from telephones and boyfriends. We went on a raft trip down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. As we started our journey, we had no idea how dangerous this trip could be.

I then gave in to temptations and lost the guidance of the Holy Spirit.” It is always a special experience for me to meet these repentant souls and to feel with them the miracle of forgiveness and the joy of being reunited with the Saints and the Holy Spirit.
